Our X-Blocks are engineered to solve a problem every fabricator runs into constantly: no two setups are ever the same. Traditional 1-2-3 blocks and V-blocks are single-purpose — one shape, one job. X-Blocks are a modular positioning and workholding system, CNC-machined from billet aluminum, that interlock and stack into whatever configuration the part in front of you actually needs.

Each block in the system is machined to interface with every other block — the Large X-Block, the Rectangle Blocks, and the Triangle "Y" Blocks all combine on a shared geometry, so a hand rest today becomes a deep-V tube cradle tomorrow, using the exact same set of parts. This is what makes X-Blocks a system, not a set: the value compounds every time you find a new combination.

Beyond part positioning, X-Blocks are built around a principle most workholding tools ignore: operator comfort directly affects weld quality. A stable hand or elbow rest reduces fatigue over a long session, which shows up as steadier torch control and more consistent bead placement from the first weld to the last. The Large X-Block's underside is machined for threaded fixture pins and magnetic retention, giving it fast, secure indexing on standard fixture tables or a direct magnetic hold on any ferrous steel top. Set it, lock it, weld — no dedicated fixturing required for most setups.

The two Triangle "Y" Blocks are purpose-cut so that a pair, placed point to point, forms a deep-V cradle for round tube — ideal for header and roll cage work — or can be used individually to hold a part at a controlled angle for out-of-position access.
